Mark the locations you plan to install the ground screws.

BEFORE PRESSING TRIGGER Verify torque arm is snug against ground spike, wall, or supporting structure and ready to receive torque.

WAIT 5 SECONDS for gearbox to reset between accidental trigger pulls. 

WAIT 5 SECONDS for torque arm to decompress before pressing trigger again.

HIGH/LOW SELECTOR     If Hi/Low selector will not move freely, press trigger in small increments until gearbox aligns, allowing selector to move freely.

VERIFY CONNECTIONS     Ensure torque arm and driver bit are secure before driving screws.

Verify torque arm has sufficient amount of space to retract when choosing initial ground spike location. 

Note: (If torque arm retracts fully, move ground spike as needed)

DANGER: Keep personel clear of energized torque arm.  (700+ ft/lbs)

• LOW GEAR While reversing and making minor adjustments

Before reaching full install depth, place Survey Rod on back of D4100 motor housing to acquire accurate and uniform grade level.

LOW GEAR: Forward and Reverse for precise adjustments. 

When installing saddles leave bolts loose, allowing for leveling of foundation posts. After posts and beams are level and secured, tighten bolts according to the orientation of beam post.

Install timber locks or any other securement hardware you choose.
